In October 2019, the Seton Center hosted the Bridges to Sustainable Communities Symposium at Mount St. Mary’s University. The Ausherman Family Foundation was proud to support this event. A total of 64% of those who attended the event expressed interest in receiving more training and/or supporting Getting Ahead groups throughout Frederick County. To support the next steps in this initiative, Seton Center is offering a FREE, one-day Community Bridges Out of Poverty Training, on Wednesday, January 22 from 10 AM to 4 PM at the Thurmont Public Library, facilitated by Bridges Trainer Kelly Overholtzer.
