I was born and raised in Frederick County. Our family roots run deep within the community, and I am proud to carry that aspect on for years to come. I currently reside in Frederick with my husband Justin and our two beautiful boys: Cayden (12 years old) and Noah (10 years old), along with two English Springer Spaniels (Dexter and Dutton). I graduated with a BS in marketing and minor in communication from University of Maryland. 

I enjoy volunteering within our community, and in the past, I have chaired the MHA Catoctin Affair, been involved with the Hurwtiz Pink Ribbon Event, was on the BOD for the Record Street Home, and I am actively involved with our children’s school (Saint John’s Regional Catholic School) on many levels.  In my free time, I enjoy relaxing at the beach, reading a good book, and spending time outdoors with my family creating memories to cherish. 

Lauren is now volunteering her time with the Ausherman Family Foundation’s Single-Year Grants Committee. We are looking forward to the energy she will bring to the Committee.
