Mission of Mercy seeks to restore dignity and “healing through love” by providing free primary health care, dental care and prescription medicines to the under- and uninsured at their mobile medical clinics. Ausherman Family Foundation was honored to support Mission of Mercy with a focus grant to fund a fully equipped, state-of-the art, mobile dental unit. This new mobile dental office on wheels is equipped with three dental chairs, including two operatories and one prep chair. With the addition of these chairs, two dentists and dental assistant can work simultaneously allowing Mission of Mercy to double their number of patients served.
