Dr. Ben Carson’s was presented by the Frederick Speaker Series on April 9, 2014 at the Weinberg Center for the Arts.  He spoke about his journey from tough, inner-city youth to history making neurosurgeon illustrating the power we all have to excel and influence others.  Dr. Carson is a cancer-survivor and best-selling author and he inspires audiences to take charge of their lives, no matter what obstacles confront them.  Soft-spoken yet charismatic, Dr. Carson commanded the stage and captivated people with a presentation that shared the keys to turning great challenges into greater triumphs.
