Danielle Doll, Single-Year Grants Committee Advisor

Danny Severn

Danielle Doll serves as Senior Manager of Strategic Communication
at the National Recreation and Park Association. Previously, she
served as Associate Director of Downtown Frederick Partnership,
a nonprofit economic development and National Main Street
organization in Frederick, MD. Danielle has extensive experience
in nonprofits and spent much of her career in the Washington, DC
metro area specializing in development of strategic communication,
campaigns, advocacy and fundraising strategy, economic
development, business development and relationship/partnership
management.

She has a passion for building healthy communities, is an
urbanist and an expert placemaker. Her creative, outside-the-box
vision drives the strategies, leading to signature experiences in
communities. She has spent the last 16 years applying unique
approaches to intricate problems to increase engagement, funding,
and awareness for organizations, businesses and communities.

Danielle has an unwavering passion for positive change and has
worked on a variety of complex public health and economic issues
at the national, state and local levels in previous roles. These
issues have included active lifestyle, heart disease and stroke
awareness and education, dangers of tobacco use, access to health
care, obesity prevention and healthy eating, tactical urbanism,
homelessness, business solutions to lift individuals out of poverty
and more.
